Hurst made 101 off 181 balls including 15 fours as Lancashire finished the third day of the Second XI Championship match on 312-8. The wicket keeper batsman brought up his century in style with an on-drive down the ground for four.
Hurst was well supported by opener JJ Fielding who made 71 before he was bowled by Fallows.

But three quick wickets from Scriven who recorded figures of 4-54 and Sakande (1-28) saw Lancashire collapse to 73-4. George Lavelle (19), George Bell (3) and Tom Hartley (0) the batters to depart.
Fielding was joined by Hurst at the crease, the pair added 74 for the fifth wicket partnership until Fielding (71) was dismissed following another outstanding knock.
