Lancs and Derby pile on the runs in drawn Second XI clash at Sale
The final day of the Second XI Championship game between Lancashire and Derbyshire Sale Cricket Club has been abandoned due to a wet outfield, ensuring the match ended drawn.
Only nine wickets fell across three days as 788 runs have been amassed by batters from both side's.
Lancashire batted first and posted 576/8 as both openers Harry Singh and JJ Fielding passed centuries.
They finished the first day on 236-0 without the loss of a wicket. Singh top scored with 150 while JJ Fielding finished on 125.
