Lancs name squad for Royal London Cup opener

A 14-man squad has been named for Lancashire's Royal London Cup opener against Essex Eagles, which takes place tomorrow (2 August) at Sedbergh School

Washington Sundar and Will Williams are both in line to make their List A debuts for the Red Rose, whilst Keaton Jennings will lead the Club in a competitive fixture for the first time after Dane Vilas was ruled out with a fractured finger.

Lancashire warmed-up for the Royal London Cup competition with a 44-run victory over Cumbria yesterday (31 July), with Josh Bohannon and Danny Lamb striking centuries before the spin of Luke Wells claimed three wickets.
