England have qualified for the Quarter Finals of the ICC U19’s Men's Cricket World Cup as they beat UAE by 189 runs in St Kitts.

After previously qualifying for the Super League Quarter Finals against Canada, a magnificent 154 not out from Hampshire’s Tom Prest meant England finished Group A with three wins from three.

All three Lancashire players once again featured, Joshua Boyden carried on his excellent form with the ball as he picked up two more wickets taking figures of 2-10.

The left arm seamer has now taken his wicket tally into double figures for the tournament dismissing Aryansh Sharma (4) and Dhruv Parashar (3).

Fellow Lancashire teammates, George Bell (1-26) and Tom Aspinwall (1-31) picked up a wicket a piece as UAE were bowled out for 173 in 38.2 overs.

Leicestershire’s Rehan Ahmed playing his first game of the tournament recorded figures of 4-30 from his 10 overs.

England now wait for the rest of the group stage games to conclude, before they play their Quarter Final on Tuesday 25 January at 1pm GMT.
