Yorkshire bowled out on Day One of Second XI clash

Lancashire bowled out Yorkshire for 259 on Day One of their Second XI clash at Scarborough.

Liam Hurt (3-47) and Jack Blatherwick (3-70) both took three wickets apiece as the two fast bowlers helped dismiss the Yorkshire tail as the hosts collapsed from 234-5 to 259 all out.

Harry Birkman and Louis Johnson both made their second team debut for the Red Rose.

Birkman took 2-25 from his 11 overs claiming the wickets of Will Luxton and Jonathan Tattersall while left arm seamer Johnson claimed 1-36 removing Harry Allinson (34).

Luxton (58), Vagadia (53) and Tattersall (51) all past half centuries for the home side but was all soon dismissed after reaching fifty.
