Jack Morley, a 17 year-old left arm spin bowler, who progressed through the Club's pathway system, signed a one-year professional contract ahead of the 2019 season.
After playing his club cricket with Heywood Cricket Club, he joined the Lancashire Cricket Academy in 2018.
He represented the North at National Super 4’s last season, coached by Academy Director Gary Yates who was part of the North set-up.
That same summer, Morley played regularly for the Second XI and earned a place on the England Young Lions tour to India and Bangladesh this winter - making his debut during the Test series.
Speaking after signing his deal, Morley said: “It is a dream come true to sign professional terms with Lancashire.
“After coming through the age-group pathway and joining the Academy, this is the next step for me and I hope that re-pay the faith that the Club have put in me.
“It’s a hugely exciting to be part of the squad and having really enjoyed the last few months away with the England Young Lions side out in India and Bangladesh after Christmas, I'm really looking forward to the start of the season."
