Emma Lamb started playing County age group cricket at the age of 10 in 2008 for the Lancashire Under 13s and was part of the Under 17 team that won the Royal London Girls Under 17 County Cup in 2016.
She was named Lancashire's junior player of the year for girls in 2012 and 2015 and has scored an impressive 11 county centuries so far.
The right-handed opening batter made her senior debut in 2012 and scored her maiden County Championship century the following year with an unbeaten 113 against Durham. In 2014 she was selected for the Lancashire Academy and her progress led to England Academy selection.
Good performances in the 2016 series for the academy team against Sri Lanka A and Australia's Shooting Stars in Sri Lanka included 85 off 80 balls against the hosts, and Emma went on to make her senior England debut against Ireland during the pre-season tour to the UAE in April 2017. She continues to play for England academy side.
At domestic level promotion from Division Two of the Royal London Cup in 2016, was followed by the 50-over and T20 ‘double’ last year and Emma has been part of the Lancashire Thunder side since the start of the Kia Super League.
