Membership Auto-Renewal FAQs

Membership Auto-Renewal FAQs

Please see below for the latest frequently asked questions around the optional auto-renewal for the 2025 memberships.

If you are unable to find an answer to a question you are looking for, feel free to get in touch with the ticket and membership office by emailing [email protected] and we will add it to the below list of FAQs.

Why is the Club running the membership auto-renewal for 2025?

As part of the launch of the 2024 membership in August 2023, the Club communicated that each category (excluding Taster) would be part of the optional auto-renewal programme for 2025.

We understand that the majority of members renew their membership year-on-year when the categories are released for general sale in order to receive priority international ticket access which is one of the most popular member benefits. The aim of the auto-renewal is to make the process as easy as possible for members who are looking to renew for 2025, with the option to opt-out should they wish.

Why are the auto-renewal payments being made before the end of the 2024 season?

The reason for the auto-renewal process to take place on or around Monday 19 August as communicated in the information received by Members is due to the upcoming 2025 International ticket window.

Tickets for 2025 Internationals are due to open for sale from late-August 2024 and as part of the Member benefits, our aim is to ensure members get first priority to book these highly sought after tickets.

Can I opt-out of auto-renewal?

Of course, the auto-renewal process is simply a way to make it easier for members who wish to renew for 2025 and to get international ticket priority before anyone else.

However, should members wish to renew later in the year, or to not renew their membership at all, members are free to opt-out of the auto-renewal process.

To opt-out of the auto-renewal process, simply follow the steps below.

  • Log in at lancashirecricket.co.uk/memberportal
  • Click the Login button and sign in to your account
  • In the Blue Menu, on the right-hand side of the screen select Profile and Payment Methods. For mobile, open the main menu at the top of the screen and use the Update My Details option.
  • Scroll down to Your interest
  • Tick the box Memberships Auto Renewal Opt-Out

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you opt-out by Friday 16 August.

If you are having trouble, feel free to contact the ticket and membership office on 0161 868 6868 (Option 1) or email [email protected]

How to I make sure I am opted-in?

Anyone who purchased a 2024 Membership (excluding Taster) was automatically enrolled on the auto-renewal programme for 2025 following the communication in August 2024.

However to ensure you are fully opted in, please check to ensure you have a valid credit or debit card saved in your account (and any other family or friend memberships you manage) as below. If you would not like your membership to be auto-renewed, please tick the opt-out box in your account as below. Please ensure that this is completed by Friday 16 August.

To check your saved credit or debit card, follow the steps below:

  •  Log in at lancashirecricket.co.uk/memberportal
  • Click the Login button and sign in to your account
  • In the Blue Menu, on the right-hand side of the screen select Profile and Payment Methods. For mobile, open the main menu at the top of the screen and use the Update My Details option.
  • Scroll down to Your interest
  • Tick the box Memberships Auto Renewal Opt-Out

What happens if I miss the opt out deadline?

Should your membership auto-renew, you will have 14 days from the day after you receive your confirmation email to cancel your membership and receive a refund. To do so, please contact the ticket office by emailing [email protected] with your full name and membership number.

How do I change membership category?

Follow the instructions to opt out of the auto-renewal process. You will then be able to purchase a different membership category once they are released for general sale.

Can I pay for my membership in instalments?

Yes, 2025 Memberships can be paid in instalments by Klarna or Paypal when selected on checkout.

However, the flexible payments are not available for auto-renewal. Should you wish to split your membership payments, you will need to opt-out of auto-renewal and purchase your membership on general sale.
