Lancashire Cricket - Update on Rule Changes
Lancashire Cricket is pleased to announce that following consultation with its Members’ Representative Group (MRG) and after listening closely to the views of the national Cricket Supporters Association (CSA) and from the wider membership, a package of changes has been made to support and encourage greater involvement from Members in the running of the Club.
Lancashire Cricket values all support from its Members and is committed to welcoming everyone wanting to play their part in helping the Club succeed on and off the pitch.
It is necessary to strike a sensible balance between Member representation and having a broad range of essential skills and experiences to enable the Club to fulfil its potential and appeal to the broadest communities across the region.
Many of the changes are already being implemented and are detailed in the AGM papers sent to Members, but where Club Rule changes are required in relation to Board appointments, the Club is seeking approval from the wider membership at the AGM on 21 April 2022. These proposed Rule changes have the full support of the Club, the MRG and the CSA. The changes have also been welcomed by the group of Members who have brought their concerns to the Club over recent months, and therefore we believe they will help to bring together all Lancashire fans in supporting the Club in the coming years.
