Sportsbreaks.com extends agreement to sponsor Thunder Cricket
Lancashire Cricket is delighted to announce that Sportsbreaks.com has extended their agreement to remain as the standalone sponsor of Thunder Cricket.
Last year, Sportsbreaks.com made history when they became the regional women’s sides first standalone sponsor with their logo proudly displayed on the front of Thunder’s playing shirts.
Based in Manchester, Sportsbreaks.com offer unforgettable sports travel experiences to the world’s most exciting sporting events including football ticket and hotel package, Formula 1 Grand Prix breaks, domestic and international cricket and many more.
Sportsbreaks.com will remain as the Official Sports Travel Partner of Lancashire Cricket and continue to showcase their brand at Emirate Old Trafford via the exclusive Sportsbreaks.com Terrace. Offering an unrivalled view from pitch-level, supporters can watch all three England internationals this summer from the best seats in the house via Sportsbreaks.com.
In addition, the Sportsbreaks.com Terrace will be open for all of Lancashire Lightning’s home fixtures in the Vitality Blast - including two doubleheaders on Wednesday 1 and Friday 3 June – when both Lancashire Lightning and Thunder will be in action. Tickets are available here.
As part of the agreement, Sportsbreaks.com also have their logo emblazoned on all of Lancashire Cricket’s non-T20 training wear.
Thunder Captain, Ellie Threlkeld, commented: “It’s been amazing to have Sportsbreaks.com as our own official shirt sponsor for the last year and it’s really pleasing to hear that they have further extended their commitment to supporting the Thunder.
“It just shows the commitment that the Club and Sportsbreaks.com are putting into Thunder Cricket, we feel privileged, and we’re really looking forward to continuing to work together in the coming seasons.
“To have a standalone sponsor as a women’s team demonstrates the huge growth of the female game, including from a commercial perspective, over the last few years.”
