Member Update - Lancashire Cricket
Following on from the AGM, the Club wanted to provide an update to the wider Membership on some of the general themes that were discussed throughout the meeting.
Membership Packs
The Club would like to reiterate the message it has sent out to Members over the last couple of weeks, around the delay in sending out Membership packs and cards to some Members. All Membership cards have now been dispatched and all packs have either been sent out or are available to collect from the Ticket Office.
We apologise sincerely for the inconvenience caused and we really do appreciate your understanding and patience. The Members’ Representative Group (MRG) have received a lot of feedback on this issue from Members which the Club has listened to. We will review the process fully ahead of next year - reviewing our supply chain, as even though we procured through a North West company, the end point sourcing was outside of the UK.
Upcoming Member Events & Forums
Following on from the huge success of the Coffee Morning that took place at Emirates Old Trafford before the start of the 2023 season, with over 150 Members in attendance, and included a Q&A session with Keaton Jennings and Phoebe Graham, the Club is keen to further develop an annual calendar of events for our Members.
As mentioned at the AGM – we are keen to use Members’ Forums as an important mechanism for discussion and to ensure Members are updated on some of the key issues arising at Emirates Old Trafford.
The next Members’ Forum is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 26 July – whilst a second will be held on the final game of the season, on Wednesday 20 September, as Lancashire take on Nottinghamshire in the County Championship at Emirates Old Trafford. Any other Forums will be communicated in due course.
A second coffee morning will also be held in the off-season later in the year – whilst the Club will be confirming the date of the ever-popular Members’ Christmas Party event that will take place at Emirates Old Trafford in December.
Members’ Representative Group (MRG) Recruitment
The Club commenced an MRG recruitment campaign earlier this year to attract new Members for the group of which there were a number of interested individuals.
The Club is working with the MRG on the next phase of the campaign to incorporate new rule changes including Nominations Committee involvement. This will include an AGM ratification vote for new representatives and we will shortly be launching a new Member targeted promotion process to attract new candidates. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact the MRG via MRGLancsCC@gmail.com.
The Club views the MRG as a very important part of Member communication, so would urge as many Members as possible to register their interest.
IT Workshop
The Club is aware that some Members are having issues with the Ticketing website. We are working with our ticketing provider SecuTix to try and make it as simple and easy as possible for Members to use.

The Club will be looking to arrange sessions during matchdays at Emirates Old Trafford to assist – with the help of the MRG – and we would like to learn what else we can do to make the ticketing process easier for Members.
