Pre-season friendly at Derbyshire cancelled
Lancashire's pre-season friendly away to Derbyshire, due to start on Tuesday 28 March, has been cancelled.
The decision was taken by the home side, after rain throughout March has led to an excessively wet outfield at The Incora County Ground, limiting the work of the Groundstaff to prepare the playing surface.
As such, the decision has been taken to cancel the two-day friendly to give the best possible preparation time ahead of the 2023 season.
The Red Rose will return to pre-season action to take on Loughborough UCCE in a three-day match at Loughborough University from Saturday 1 April to Monday 3 April.
