Vote for May's Hilton Player of the Month

Four players are in the running for Lancashire Cricket's May Player of the Month, sponsored by Hilton.

For one lucky voter, Hilton are offering a two-night stay at one of their hotels around the world, as well as a signed Lancashire LV= Insurance County Championship shirt.

George Balderson

All-rounder George Balderson claimed 16 wickets - taken at an average of 24 - in the Vitality County Championship during the month of May, also adding runs 135 with the bat.

His best performance came on the final day against Durham in Blackpool when he claimed 4 for 52 to bowl Lancashire to their first victory of the season - picking up four of the last five wickets to end a tense final day.

Keaton Jennings

Men's captain Keaton Jennings tallied up 476 runs - scored at an average of 52 - at the top of the order in the Vitality County Championship during May.

The 31-year-old starred against Durham in Blackpool, scoring centuries in both innings. Jennings' knocks of 115 and 155 guided Lancashire to a first Championship win of the season. He also scored a gritty 91 in the previous game against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

Emma Lamb

Emma Lamb returned to form in style during May as she scored 358 runs - at an average of 59 - at the top of the order for Lancashire Thunder.

Lamb's runs included a century against Central Sparks in the Rachal Heyhoe Flint Trophy (50 over) at Emirates Old Trafford and an unbeaten 63* against The Blaze in the Charlotte Edwards Cup (T20).

Fi Morris

Lancashire Thunder’s spin bowling all-rounder Fi Morris claimed 7 wickets during the month of May, alongside scoring 136 runs in the top order in both the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and Charlotte Edwards Cup competitions. 

30-year-old Morris performed most impressively during the start of the Charlotte Edwards Cup against Central Sparks, picking up 3 for 22 with the ball, followed up by 43 with the bat.
