Player Pathway
Lancashire Cricket Player Pathway provides an environment or journey that helps all boys and girls realise their potential within cricket, whether that means they are the best school or club player, or develop up the pathway to represent at various levels right the way up to county age groups, elite programmes, Academy and England representation.
The Performance Department’s philosophy of developing players' skills in a winning environment is seen throughout this pathway with the competition opportunities available at all levels.
The pathway is a journey players can enter at any stage and the LCB has seen numerous players come through right from the start but equally a number of players who have come in near the top of the pathway over the years.
With over 1500 boys and girls currently in the pathway and over 200 of them playing county age group cricket, a significant number of the Lancashire County Cricket Club and Lancashire Thunder players have come through the ranks.
The pathway involves a great deal of people, from coaches to officials and groundsmen to volunteers and the Club would like to thank everyone for their efforts in developing a thorough pathway for our cricketers in Lancashire.
The pathway encompasses opportunities at all levels above club cricket for boys and girls and highlights the steps involved to get to the top, including all the contacts and links to fixtures.
