Haider Hussain is a right-handed leg spinner and batter who is one of the contingent of Lancashire Academy boys who also plays club cricket at Hyde CC.

With the bat Hussain has a high score of 93 which he scored playing for Hyde CC - whilst he also bowls leg-spin. 

In the start of the 2023 season, he took four wickets against a strong Yorkshire academy side during a pre-season friendly. In addition to this he has picked up his best figures for his club Hyde CC at the start of the 2023 season by taking 5-24 against Toft CC.

During the 2022 summer, Hussain represented the north side in the ECB Bunbury festival. During his campaign for the side, he picked up a staggering 17 wickets, including 4-23 against the Midlands.
