Joseph Moores is a middle order left-handed batter and wicketkeeper.
With the bat, Joseph has shown to be incredibly explosive and exciting to watch. This can be shown by his 158* (Career best) playing for his school in 2024 which only came off 104 balls. An innings showing the player’s class in a comfortable win for The King’s school Macclesfield.
Alongside many appearances through the years for Lancashire’s junior teams, Joseph made his debut for the Lancashire 2nd XI during the 2024 season in a rain affected four-day fixture against Durham.
Moores, often being described as a 360-degree player, scored his maiden hundred for the club during a pathway fixture in 2023, a first centaury which will definitely lead to more.
