In conversation with Freddie Flintoff at Emirates Old Trafford

Join former Lancashire and England cricketer Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff (MBE) in conversation with his Radio 5 Live co-host Matthew Syed (the Ping Pong guy), in an intimate event held at Emirates Old Trafford on Wednesday 31 October (7:30pm).

Freddie will be discussing his new book Do You Know What? The book covers all bases, from his mistakes, the curveballs, his blueprint to life, domestic bliss, his personal manifesto for a better world, crazy stunts, curiosities, travelling, TV, this is a book for every person who wants to understand the inner workings of a genius and hilarious brain.

Flintoff made 79 Test match and 141 ODI appearances for England and following his retirement in 2009, he returned to play for Lancashire Lightning in the T20 Blast in 2014, helping the side to reach Finals Day. 

After winning the Ashes with England in 2005, Flintoff was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Following his retirement from sport, Freddie joined the panel of BAFTA-winning A League of Their Own, presented documentaries and interviewed some of the world's most famous figures.

He has also written for newspapers, fronted his own radio show and currently works alongside pals Robbie Savage and Matthew Syed on their hugely successful and award-winning podcast Flintoff, Savage and the Ping Pong Guy.
