15 named to face Steelbacks in the Blast

Head Coach Glen Chapple has named a 15-man squad to travel to Northants Steelbacks in the Vitality Blast on Friday evening.

18-year-old Josh Boyden has been included in a First Team squad for the first time. The Left-arm seamer impressed for England at this year's U19s Cricket World Cup, claiming 15 wickets as the Young Lions reached the final.

Jack Morley - who is yet to make his Vitality Blast for Lancashire - has also been named in the squad whilst Tom Bailey returns to the fold for the North Group's top of the table clash at The County Ground, Norhtampton.

Lightning are without the quartet of Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone, Phil Salt and Luke Wood who are all away on One Day International duty with England in the Netherlands.

Lancashire Lightning squad to face Northants Steelbacks:

Dane Vilas (C), Tom Bailey, Josh Bohannon, Josh Boyden, Steven Croft, Tim David, Richard Gleeson, Tom Hartley, Liam Hurt, Keaton Jennings, Rob Jones, Danny Lamb, Jack Morley, Matt Parkinson, Luke Wells

How to follow:

The match will be live streamed by Northants Steelbacks with a link posted on lancashirecricket.co.uk ahead of the start of play at 6.30pm, whilst live ball-by-ball radio commentary provided by BBC Radio Lancashire's Scott Read will also be available via the BBC Sport app and website.

For those unable to follow the action live, there will be regular updates and match clips posted on the Club's social media channels and the Match Centre, with highlights also uploaded to LancsTV post-match.
