6.20pm, CLOSE Day 3
Gloucestershire 2nd innings 67-3, Hammond 26 van Buuren 3 trail by 237 runs.

That has been another good day for the Red Rose.

Three Gloucestershire wickets fell in that session to put Dane Vilas' men right on top going into the final day.

But that yorker by Hassan - make an effort to see the video!

Gloucestershire 2nd innings 61-3, Hammond 21 van Buuren 0 trail by 243 runs.
Oh you like to see that as a fast bowler!

Hassan Ali has just produced the ultimate yorker and James Bracey's middle stump has been sheared into two pieces! What a delivery.

Gloucestershire 2nd innings 55-2, Bracey 12, Hammond 17 trail by 249 runs.
Matt Parkinson comes into the attack as Lancashire hunt a third wicket. There are 14 overs still left to be bowled today.

Gloucestershire 2nd innings 36-2, Bracey 10, Hammond 0 trail by 268 runs.
Both openers have now gone! Chris Dent cut Saqib Mahmood for four but then tried to repeat the shot two balls later and edged behind where Phil Salt took a good, leaping catch.

Gloucestershire 2nd innings 13-1, Dent 6 Bracey 0, trail by 291 runs.
We have a wicket as Jimmy Anderson gets a delivery to lift and find the edge of Aussie opener Marcus Harris' bat!
Phil Salt takes the catch and Harris departs for 7.

Gloucestershire 2nd innings 1-0, Dent 1 Harris 0, trail by 303 runs.
Lancashire's declaration gives them 32 overs tonight plus tomorrow to push for a second victory of the season.

Chris Dent and Marcus Harris, who combined so well in the first innings with a century partnership are out in the middle facing James Anderson and Hassan Ali.

3.45pm, TEA Day 3
Lancashire 556-7 after 166 overs, Lamb 41 Mahmood 17, lead by 304 runs.
A lovely cameo of 41 off 46 balls by Danny Lamb including two sixes, one a huge reverse pull that sent the ball thudding into the practice nets has taken the Lancashire lead up to 304.

It looks like Lancashire have declared with the groundstaff now rolling the pitch.

3.15pm
Lancashire 503-7 after 157 overs, Lamb 5 Mahmood 0, lead by 251 runs.
Hassan Ali thumped a six and reverse sweep for four before skying a catch to Ryan Higgins and hand Zafar Gohar a fourth wicket. Lancashire looking for quick runs in the 10 overs remaining before tea.

2.55pm
Lancashire 486-6 after 152 overs, Hassan Ali 0 Lamb 0, lead by 234 runs.
Everybody is on their feet applauding Josh Bohannon as he walks off having made a career-best 231. His innings came to an edge after Bohannon gloved a sweep off Graeme van Buuren to wicketkeeper James Bracey having spent a mammoth 553 minutes at the crease and included one six and 30 fours!

It was an absolute pleasure to watch.

That was the second wicket to fall in quick succession after Phil Salt was stumped by Bracey off Zafar Gohar for 21 attempting hit out against the spinner in the hunt for quick runs.

Lancashire 477-4 after 148 overs, Bohannon 223 Salt 20, lead by 225 runs.
Ajeet Dale drops short and Phil Salt pulls the ball fiercely to the midwicket boundary and that is now Lancashire's highest-ever first-class total against Gloucestershire, going past the 474-3 dec set at Liverpool in 1903. It's been a day for records!

2.25pm
Lancashire 458-4 after 144 overs, Bohannon 221 Salt 5, lead by 206 runs.
Josh Bohannon now has achieved the highest innings by a Lancashire batter against Gloucestershire, beating the 220 by Frank Sugg in 1896 and 220 by Len Hopwood in 1934 after hammering Josh Shaw square for four off the back foot.

Lancashire's lead now passes 200.

2.05pm
Lancashire 441-4 after 138 overs, Bohannon 212 Salt 0, lead by 189 runs.
Dane Vilas' fine innings comes to an end as he is caught at point by Hammond off Josh Shaw for 109 attempting to hit the bowler over the infield.

1.45pm
Lancashire 421-3 after 135 overs, Bohannon 205 Vilas 100, lead by 169 runs.
Back after lunch with Gloucestershire opting for a defensive field with no slips to attempt to keep the lid on the Lancashire run scoring after Bohannon and Vilas added 129 runs in the morning session.

The weather has improved and we have sunny and windy conditions now at Emirates Old Trafford.

1.00pm, LUNCH Day 3
Lancashire 418-3 after 133 overs, Bohannon 202 Vilas 100, lead by 166 runs.
Now Dane Vilas reaches his 24th first-class century and 2nd of the season with a back foot drive for four! Outstanding innings by the skipper.
Here's an amazing thing: no wicket has fallen in any of the three morning sessions. That surely must be a pretty rare event.

12.55pm
Lancashire 411-3 after 131.3 overs, Bohannon 200 Vilas 96, lead by 160 runs.
The milestones keep arriving as Josh Bohannon and Dane Vilas continue to build this partnership.

Bohannon drives Zafar Gohar through extra cover off the back foot to go to 199 and then pushes Graeme van Buuren for a single to reach his first double-century!

12.25pm
Lancashire 383-3 after 124 overs, Bohannon 179 Vilas 89, lead by 131 runs.
Josh Bohannon has a sharply run two to reach his career-best score and then on-drives Miles Hammond for his 24th four. What an innings!

12.00pm
Lancashire 358-3 after 118 overs, Bohannon 168 Vilas 77, lead by 106 runs.
The lead reaches three figures as Josh Bohannon drives gloriously through cover off Jared Warner. That might be his best shot this innings.

11.30am
Lancashire 323-3 after 110 overs, Bohannon 155 Vilas 60, lead by 71 runs.
That is all the bonus points sorted in this match. Lancashire have six & Gloucestershire three.

11.18am
Lancashire 310-3 after 106.3 overs, Bohannon 150 Vilas 52, lead by 58 runs.
And the spectators now warm their hands and stand to applaud Josh Bohannon who has reached his third score of 150 for Lancashire from 328 balls with 21 fours!

11.10am
Lancashire 307-3 after 104 overs, Bohannon 148 Vilas 51, lead by 55 runs.
It's cold, blowing a gale and all the spectators are in warm jackets and coats as Josh Bohannon and Dane Vilas face the opening deliveries from Ajeet Singh and Ryan Higgins.

But they will have been warmed by Dane Vilas clipping Higgins through midwicket for four to bring up his fifty (off 51 balls) and Lancashire's third batting point. Vilas is not hanging about this morning!

10.30am
It is a cloudy, windy morning at Emirates Old Trafford ahead of the third day of this LV= County Championship match against Gloucestershire where Lancashire will resume on 289-3 in reply to the visitor's first innings 252 all out.

Yesterday was a great day for Josh Bohannon who will resume on 142 not out alongside Dane Vilas (39 not out) as Lancashire look to build on their 37 run lead.
