Second XI face tough final day at Chester
The runs once again flowed at Chester Boughton CC on Day Three of the Second XI Championship encounter between Lancashire and Warwickshire.
Over 500 runs were scored on the third day as Warwickshire closed on 454-5 with a second innings lead of 393 heading into the final day.
Dan Mousley (198) and Ethan Brookes (174) both hit centuries and added a partnership of 325 for the second wicket partnership.
Mousley’s 198 contained 25 fours and three sixes coming off 209 balls. While Brookes hit 19 fours and eight sixes in his 174.
Earlier in the day, overnight centurion Subhaan Mahmood was left stranded on 191 as Lancashire were bowled out 441 adding 70 runs to their overnight score.
Xander Selby passed his half century before he was bowled by Garrett for 52.
