Squad named for Durham clash at Blackpool
Head Coach Glen Chapple has named a 15-strong squad for Lancashire Lightning’s Vitality Blast fixture against Derbyshire Falcons, which takes place at Blackpool Cricket Club later today (5:30pm start).
Lancashire go into the game top of the North Group with 15 points, after seven wins from ten games.
Tom Bailey, George Balderson, George Bell, Josh Bohannon, Steven Croft, Tim David, Richard Gleeson, Tom Hartley, Liam Hurt, Rob Jones, Danny Lamb, Jack Morley, Matt Parkinson, Luke Wells, Luke Wood
Luke Wood has been made available by the ECB after missing out on selection in the third and final ODI against the Netherlands yesterday and flew home early, whilst wicket keeper batter Phil Salt will be available for tomorrow’s Vitality Blast game against Derbyshire.
Opening batter Keaton Jennings has been ruled out with a minor calf injury sustained last week, whilst captain Dane Vilas has been suspended for one match by the Cricket Disciplinary Committee (CDC) following on from the suspended sanction the Club received in November last year for the number of on-field offences over a 12-month period. Vilas will return to the squad tomorrow.
19 year-old wicket keeper batter George Bell is included in a Lancashire squad for the first time.
