14-man squad named to face Northants away
Glen Chapple has named a 14-man squad to face Northamptonshire in the LV= Insurance County Championship, starting tomorrow at Wantage Road.
Lancashire's Head Coach has both Tom Hartley and Phil Salt available to return to the squad following the conclusion of The Hundred as Lancashire switch focus to the final four red ball matches of the summer.
Young all-rounder Tom Aspinwall misses out due to a back injury with Saqib Mahmood the Red Roses' only other injury absentee as he continues his rehabilitation from a back stress fracture.
Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone and Luke Wood are all unavailable due to England's ongoing IT20 series against New Zealand with Matt Parkinson rejoining Durham on loan earlier this week.
Lancashire Cricket squad to face Northamptonshire:
Keaton Jennings (c), Tom Bailey, George Balderson, George Bell, Jack Blatherwick, Josh Bohannon, Steven Croft, Tom Hartley, Rob Jones, Danny Lamb, Phil Salt, Dane Vilas, Luke Wells, Will Williams
How to follow:
The match will be broadcast live by Northamptonshire CCC, with ball-by-ball radio commentary from Wantage Road provided by BBC Radio Lancashire's Scott Read on the BBC Sport website and app.
