Danny Lamb to leave Lancashire and join Sussex
Lancashire Cricket can confirm that all-rounder Danny Lamb will leave the Club and join Sussex when his contract expires at the end of the 2023 season.
Lamb, who came through Lancashire’s Academy, signed as a professional ahead of the 2017 season and made his debut the following year.
The 27 year-old, who has made 98 appearances for the Club across all three formats, recently played for Gloucestershire on a short-term loan earlier this month.
Director of Cricket Performance Mark Chilton said: “I’d like to thank Danny for his performances, hard work and commitment over the last seven years since signing his first professional contract with the Club.
“Danny has found First Team opportunities limited over the last couple of years, so we completely understand the decision he’s made moving to Sussex. We wish him all the best for the next stage of his career.”
