Emirates Old Trafford’s internationals confirmed for 2024
The 2024 home international schedule has been announced with Emirates OId Trafford, the iconic home of Lancashire Cricket Club, set for two Men’s internationals to be played at the venue next year.
Emirates Old Trafford will stage England Men’s first Test of the series against Sri Lanka from Wednesday 21 August until Sunday 25 August 2024.
The venue will then play host to the third and final Men’s IT20 against Australia on Sunday 15 September a match that will provide supporters with a chance to watch England’s current T20 World Cup winning side in action - including the likes of Lancashire’s Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone, and Phil Salt.
Tickets for another unmissable summer of International cricket at Emirates Old Trafford will be in high demand, with just two fixtures to choose from.

Lancashire Cricket Chief Executive, Daniel Gidney, said: “As one of the leading venues for internationals in world cricket, we are delighted that Emirates Old Trafford has secured two more England Men’s matches in the schedule for next summer.
“Test matches at Emirates Old Trafford are always extremely special occasions and we look forward to welcoming the touring Sri Lankan team in August 2024 for the first Test of what promises to be an extremely competitive series.
“We will also look forward to resuming battle with Australia for the final IT20 of the series in September 2024, following their visit to Emirates Old Trafford for the fourth Men’s Ashes Test later on this month – matches which always bring out the best of atmospheres from the Manchester crowd.”
Lancashire wicketkeeper and England Men’s white ball captain, Jos Buttler, said: “Emirates Old Trafford is a great venue for international cricket and a place where England players get so well supported.
