Lancashire announce 14-man squad to face Notts at Trent Bridge

Men's Head Coach Glen Chapple has named a 14-man squad for Lancashire Cricket's match away to Nottinghamshire in the LV= Insurance County Championship.

The results of a scan last week have confirmed that captain Keaton Jennings suffered a hamstring injury whilst batting against Somerset at Taunton. In Jennings' absence, Dane Vilas will lead the Red Rose for the game at Trent Bridge whilst Rob Jones and Luke Wood have both been added to the matchday squad - in the only changes from the group that drew with Somerset at Taunton the week before last.

Both teams head into the match which starts tomorrow (4 May) level on 29 points - with Lancashire in eighth position and Notts seventh - in the early LV= Insurance County Championship Division One standings.

Lancashire Cricket squad to play Notts:

Dane Vilas (c), James Anderson, Tom Bailey, George Balderson, George Bell (wk), Josh Bohannon, Steven Croft, Colin De Grandhomme, Tom Hartley, Rob Jones, Saqib Mahmood, Luke Wells, Will Williams, Luke Wood
