Head of Talent Pathway, Chris Benbow, said: “Congratulations to our seven new members of the Lancashire Cricket Academy. I wish them the best of luck as they continue their journey with us after progressing through the County Age Group system.

“In the last 12 months, it has been brilliant to see Josh Boyden, Tom Aspinwall, Matthew Hurst, and Harry Singh progress from our Academy and sign their first professional rookie contracts with the Club - whilst another recent Academy graduate George Bell made his First Team debut in all three formats for Lancashire last season.

“The progression of these players demonstrates to our current group of Academy players that there is a clear route to professional cricket here with us and it is now down to them to continue to work hard and head towards a career in First-Class cricket.”
