Lancashire name 15-man squad to face Essex in Blackpool

Head Coach Glen Chapple has named a 15-man squad to take on Essex in Blackpool

Lancashire Cricket return to LV= Insurance County Championship action at Blackpool CC's Stanley Park with the Red Rose looking to maintain their unbeaten record in Division One during the 2023 season.

Daryl Mitchell has been managing a tight groin throughout recent matches and it has been agreed alongside New Zealand Cricket that he will be rested for this week’s game against Essex - in order to manage his workload.

Mitchell will be available for selection once again for next week’s County Championship match away to Warwickshire at Edgbaston.
