Onions names 13-man squad for Metro Bank One Day Cup opener

Onions names 13-man squad for Metro Bank One Day Cup opener

Graham Onions has named a 13-man squad to face Essex in tomorrow's opening Metro Bank One Day Cup Group One match at Sedbergh School.

Keaton Jennings, Josh Bohannon and Will Williams all return to the matchday squad after being rested for yesterday's 47-run win over Cumbria in the National Counties Showcase Fixture - also in Sedbergh.

Seamer Tom Bailey will have a further period of rest before joining up with the squad as he manages his workload following a busy schedule of County Championship and Vitality Blast matches in recent months.

Tom Aspinwall, Josh Boyden, Matthew Hurst and Harry Singh have all been included in the 13-man squad and will be in contention to make both their professional and List A debuts for the Club.

Tomorrow's match at Sedbergh School is now sold out with no further general sale or Members' tickets available on the day. Entry to the ground will not be permitted without an advance purchased ticket.

Lancashire Cricket squad to face Essex:
