Lancashire have won two of their first three Championship games, defeating Glamorgan by an innings at Crosby last week following a five-wicket win against Worcestershire the week prior, to be among the early front runners in the table.
Yorkshire defeated Nottinghamshire by 205 runs last week with Jonny Bairstow making 97 and 57 on his long-awaited comeback from injury. That victory for the White Rose followed an earlier defeat against Leicestershire and a rain-ruined draw with Worcestershire.
