SECOND XI REPORT: Match abandoned at Blackpool
The Lancashire Second XI Championship match against Middlesex at Blackpool has been abandoned as a draw on the third day.
The heavy rain over the last few days has meant no play has been possible at Stanley Park over the first three days, and with little prospect of any play tomorrow, due to the wet conditions, the match has been called off.
The result brings the Second XI season to a fairly soggy conclusion with Lancashire in fifth position in the championship table.
