SECOND XI REPORT: No play on first day at Kidderminster
The first day of our Second XI Championship against Worcestershire at Kidderminster CC has been called off without a ball bowled.
Heavy rain earlier left the outfield unfit for play to start today, so the teams will return tomorrow and hope for an improvement in the conditions.
For the hosts it was a further disappointment after their opening match against Yorkshire at Bradford Park Avenue last week saw just 34.3 overs bowled in four days, while Lancashire dodged the showers throughout the four days of their first Championship match against Leicestershire at Southport.
