Anderson returns to Lancashire squad to face Nottinghamshire
Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named a 14-man squad for Lancashire’s Vitality County Championship fixture against Nottinghamshire, starting on Sunday at Southport & Birkdale CC.
James Anderson is set to play his first game of the season ahead of his farewell Test Match against West Indies at Lord’s, whilst Chris Green has also been included in a County Championship squad for the first time.
Tom Aspinwall (rib), Jack Morley (abdominal), Josh Boyden (concussion) and Mitch Stanley (side) all remain sidelined with injuries, whilst Saqib Mahmood and Luke Wood continue to have their workloads managed.
