Dale Benkenstein names 13-man squad to face Hampshire
Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named a 13-man squad to travel to Hampshire in the Vitality County Championship, starting tomorrow at the Utilita Bowl.
Jack Blatherwick has recovered from the hamstring injury which he suffered during the Club's pre-season tour and returns to the matchday squad in place of Josh Boyden.
Lancashire head to the Utilita Bowl with an otherwise unchanged squad, following a rain affected draw against Surrey at Emirates Old Trafford in the opening round of Division One matches.
The match saw Tom Aspinwall, Tom Bruce and Nathan Lyon all make their First-Class debuts for the Club with all three in contention to retain their places on the south coast.
Seamer Saqib Mahmood continues to build up his bowling workloads as he recovers from a lumbar stress fracture with new recruit Mitchell Stanley ongoing with his rehabilitation of a knee injury sustained during the winter.
The Red Rose remain without Jos Buttler, Liam Livingstone, Phil Salt and Luke Wood who are all currently playing in the Indian Premier League.
