Iyer set for debut, Lancashire name 14-man squad for Derbyshire
Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named a 14-man squad for tomorrow's Metro Bank One-Day Cup trip to Derbyshire.
New overseas signing Venkatesh Iyer has been named in the squad after training at Emirates Old Trafford earlier today. The Indian international has joined Lancashire for the Metro Bank One-Day Cup and two rounds of the Vitality County Championship and is set to make his Red Rose debut tomorrow in Derby.
Josh Bohannon will captain the side after Keaton Jennings was selected by London Spirit as a replacement player for the remainder of The Hundred.
Josh Boyden and Jack Morley both return to the matchday squad as Lancashire look to bounce back from two 50-over home defeats with a win at the County Ground - in the first of three Group A matches on the road.
Ollie Sutton misses out after suffering a side injury while bowling against Kent Spitfires in Blackpool on Sunday.
Tom Bruce has returned to New Zealand ahead of the birth of his second child. He reached a mutual agreement with the Club to conclude his overseas contract. Everyone at Lancashire Cricket would like to thank Tom for his efforts this summer, after making 16 appearances across all formats, and wishes him and his family well.
