Lancashire Cricket launches 2025 Membership Categories
Lancashire Cricket is pleased to unveil the latest update to its membership proposition for the 2025 season, including the new Lite membership, as the Club seeks to grow the Red Rose Family to 10,000 by 2030.
As part of Lancashire Cricket’s longstanding commitment to driving growing the membership base, whilst retaining the support of current Members, the Club has canvassed the opinions of 3,400 stakeholders to help shape the next stage of the Membership offer.
The research, which was undertaken between September 2023 to August 2024, highlighted that overall membership satisfaction has increased and understanding of the membership categories continues to improve.
Taster and Standard memberships have delivered the aim of providing greater age and gender diversity across the Red Rose Family. However, the research has also shown that the ability to attend the games included in the membership package remains the biggest reason for people not to renew or sign up in the first place.
With this in mind, for 2025 the Club is announcing a brand-new Lite membership category that will provide priority access to International tickets, access to two domestic fixtures (excluding Roses T20 and The Hundred), and first priority to buy Roses T20, all for £35.
Lite membership replaces the previously available Taster category with the added benefit of priority access to international fixtures. Following the research, the Club found that a large proportion of Standard Members who purchased in 2023 for Ashes priority attended less than half of their match allocation (5 match days) and as a result, didn’t renew the following year.
The ambition with Lite membership is to create a category with a lower price point which includes international ticket access, plus an easier commitment of games for busy families, in an effort to maintain many members who value international tickets as a key benefit but can’t commit to multiple fixtures per season.

Emirates Old Trafford will also once again play host to some unmissable international cricket in 2025. England Women also make their return to the venue for the first time in over a decade when they will take on India Women in a Vitality International T20. The venue will also host England Men for the fourth Rothesay Test Match versus India Men, followed by a Vitality International T20 against South Africa Men in September. 2025 Memberships are the only way to get priority access to book tickets for next summer’s BIG international fixtures with tickets available to buy now.

“It’s clear we are making good progress in simplifying the structure and ensuring the packages are flexible and accessible for all ages. However, a large proportion of people still can’t commit to multiple days of cricket every year and, for some, access to International matches remain a key benefit.
“Our 2025 packages are designed to attract even more people into the Red Rose Family, making it as diverse and welcoming as possible. Importantly, they have also been devised with a view to retaining more Members as we strive to hit 8,500 by next summer and 10,000 by 2030.
“The introduction of LITE reduces the entry point for International priority access, offering incredible value for money for that category, proving we are more determined than ever to welcome new Members to the Club.
“We understand that an active, engaged, and empowered membership base is crucial to our long-term success. We have a passionate membership base and the Club, and its Board, are absolutely committed to growing the Red Rose Family we have here at Lancashire Cricket in the coming years.
“Emirates Old Trafford will host international women’s cricket for the first time in over a decade when England take on India in a Vitality Women’s International T20. We host the fourth Rothesay Men’s Test match of the series between England and India, and a further Vitality Men’s International T20 in September against South Africa.
