Lancashire Lightning name 13-man squad to face Leicestershire Foxes

Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named a 13-man squad for Lancashire Lightning's Vitality Blast fixture away to Leicestershire Foxes, tomorrow at Grace Road.

19-year-old Charlie Barnard will be in contention to make his debut for the Club tomorrow evening. The left-arm spinner is a graduate of Lancashire's Academy, has represented England at Under-19 level and impressed during the Second XI's T20 win against Derbyshire on Tuesday, claiming figures of 4 for 19.

All-rounder George Balderson has also been included in the matchday squad and could be in line to make his Vitality Blast debut, after enjoying an impressive start to the season in the Vitality County Championship.

Tom Aspinwall is absent from the squad as the all-rounder continues to work his way back to full fitness following a rib issue, which has caused him to miss the last two matches.

Jack Morley is awaiting a scan for an abdominal issue that he picked up during his Vitality Blast debut against Notts Outlaws at Trent Bridge on Sunday.

Mitch Stanley has been ruled out with a side strain, which he suffered while bowling during the win over Birmingham Bears at Emirates Old Trafford last Friday.

Lancashire also remain without England quartet Jos Buttler, Tom Hartley, Liam Livingstone and Phil Salt who are currently in the Caribbean as they take part in the T20 World Cup.
