Lancashire Lightning name 14-man squad to face Durham in Vitality Blast Off
Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named a 14-man squad for Lancashire Lightning's Vitality Blast Off fixture against Durham, tomorrow at Emirates Old Trafford.
Lancashire Lightning host Durham at 7pm in the Vitality Blast Off match for the North Group that follows the Charlotte Edwards Cup clash between Lancashire Thunder and Central Sparks, which starts at 1pm.
Chris Green and Mitch Stanley are both in contention to make their first team debuts for the Club - with Tom Aspinwall, Tom Bruce, Matthew Hurst and Jack Morley all named in the squad and yet to debut for Lancashire Lightning in the T20 format.
Luke Wood - who earlier today signed a new two-year contract with Lancashire - is set to make his return to action against Durham after his spell playing for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
Seamer Saqib Mahmood - who is currently rehabilitating a minor lower limb strain - is nearing a return to play.
Lancashire are also without Jos Buttler, Tom Hartley, Liam Livingstone and Phil Salt who are currently taking part in England's IT20 series with Pakistan ahead of the T20 World Cup, which starts next week.
