Lancashire Lightning name unchanged squad for final North Group match
Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named an unchanged 16-man squad to face Northants Steelbacks tomorrow night (7pm) at Emirates Old Trafford.
Lancashire Lightning know that victory in their final Vitality Blast North Group match will secure a second place finish and a home quarter-final when they return to T20 action during early-September.
Qualification was confirmed on Wednesday, with an emphatic eight-wicket win over Notts Outlaws. Luke Wood struck three times with the ball before a century-stand between Phil Salt and Liam Livingstone saw Lightning cruise to victory.
The match at Emirates Old Trafford will start at 7pm to ensure that all of the final round of group stage fixtures begin at the same time.
