Lancashire name 14-man squad to face Durham away

Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named a 14-man squad to face Durham in the Vitality County Championship, starting tomorrow at Chester-le-Street.

Pace bowler Anderson Phillip goes straight into the squad, after his overseas signing was announced earlier today. Phillip is a West Indies international who joins the Red Rose for the rest of the season. Read more, here.

Mitch Stanley is also included in a red ball squad for the first time since joining the Club and will be in contention to make his First-Class debut in the North East.

Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone and Saqib Mahmood have joined up with England ahead of the start of their IT20 series with Australia which starts on Wednesday.

Lancashire travel to the North East in ninth place, currently 10 points from Division One safety. Durham are seventh on 130 points, 24 ahead.
