Lancashire name 14-man squad to face Somerset
Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named a 14-man squad to face Somerset in the Vitality County Championship, starting tomorrow at Emirates Old Trafford.
20-year-old batter Harry Singh is included in Lancashire's Vitality County Championship squad for the first time while West Indies pace bowler Anderson Phillip is in line to make his home debut for the Club after picking up two wickets against Durham at Chester-le-Street last week.
Venkatesh Iyer has returned to India following the conclusion of his overseas contract, which saw him make eight appearances for the Club across the Metro Bank One-Day Cup and Vitality County Championship.
Liam Livingstone and Phil Salt are both unavailable due to their involvement in England's ODI series against Australia with Luke Wood set to participate in the Zim Afro T10 which starts this week.
