Lancashire name 15-man squad to face Middlesex
Head coach Dale Benkenstein has named a 15-man squad for Lancashire's Metro Bank One-Day Cup match against Middlesex at Emirates Old Trafford.
18-year-old opening batter Keshana Fonseka has been named in the first team squad for a competitive match for the first time and will be in contention to make his senior debut tomorrow against Middlesex. Fonseka, a product of Lancashire's Academy, has played in the Second XI throughout the last couple of seasons and recently impressed in England Under-19's Test series against Sri Lanka with scores of 86 and 76.
Overseas signing Venkatesh Iyer has also been named in the squad after the India international missed the last match against Hampshire, due to a finger injury sustained in the field at Taunton.
