3.52pm. LANCASHIRE WIN BY 60 RUNS!
Durham 2nd inns 414 all out
The ploy does not work for Durham as Callum Parkinson edges George Balderson to Keaton Jennings at first slip!

Ollie Robinson is left stranded on 171 not out.

That was Balderson's fourth wicket and he finishes with 4-52.

3.50pm
Durham 2nd inns 414-9 need a further 61 runs to win, Robinson 171* Parkinson 0*
A cat and mouse game being played now with Lancashire putting everyone on the fence for Robinson to tempt him into giving a single.
Robinson thumps a four off Lyon though and leaves Parkinson to face a new over from George Balderson.

3.42pm
Durham 2nd inns 409-9 need a further 66 runs to win, Robinson 166* Parkinson 0*
Durham still have hope with Robinson at the crease. This is building up to a tense finish.

We are past the scheduled tea interval and if this last wicket hasn't fallen by 4.10pm tea will be taken.

3.25pm
Durham 2nd inns 388-9 need a further 87 runs to win, Robinson 145* Parkinson 0*
This could be the beginning of the end for Durham as Matty Potts is run out after a dreadful mix up.

Lancs one wicket away!

3.14pm
Durham 2nd inns 384-8 need a further 91 runs to win, Robinson 145* Potts 0*
Another wicket for George Balderson!!
Ben Raine inside edges onto his pads and Balderson sprinted down the wicket before pulling off a sensational diving catch!

What a turnaround with the new ball.

3.02pm
Durham 2nd inns 380-7 need a further 95 runs to win from 45.1 overs, Robinson 144* Raine 0*
Two wickets in three balls for George Balderson!

A leg cutter does for Paul Coughlin who edges to Keaton Jennings at second slip.

3.02pm
Durham 2nd inns 380-6 need a further 95 runs to win from 45.3 overs, Robinson 144* Coughlin 0*
The new ball does the trick, George Balderson nipping one away that Graham Clark edges behind for 4.

2.53pm
Durham 2nd inns 365-5 need a further 110 runs to win from 48 overs, Robinson 141* Clark 4*
Ollie Robinson gets away with a huge let off on 139, pulling Aspinwall high to midwicket with the ball dropping in-between three fielders as they converge on it. Anywhere else and it was a catch.

George Balderson is sharing the new ball with Saqib Mahmood off the field with an injury picked up before lunch.

2.45pm
Durham 2nd inns 362-5 need a further 113 runs to win from 49 overs, Robinson 139* Clark 3*
Lancashire take the new ball with Tom Aspinwall handed the new cherry.

2.33pm
Durham 2nd inns 350-5 need a further 125 runs to win from 51 overs, Robinson 131* Clark 0*
Ben Stokes has gone! He plays one reverse sweep too many, misses the ball from Luke Wells and is bowled for 18.

Big wicket for the Red Rose.

2.25pm
Durham 2nd inns 344-4 need a further 131 runs to win from 53 overs, Robinson 122* Stokes 16*
After 21 balls without scoring Ben Stokes has had enough, reverse sweeping Nathan Lyon for four and slog sweeping Luke Wells for a couple of boundaries.

But Stokes dropped his head and banged his bat after his first sweep off Wells because the ball went high to midwicket but just dropped short of Tom Aspinwall who put in a valiant dive to try and catch it. Stokes thought he was gone there.

2.10pm
Durham 2nd inns 312-4 need a further 163 runs to win from 58 overs, Robinson 113* Stokes 0*
Lancashire finally have a breakthrough as David Bedingham plays back and nicks behind off Nathan Lyon for 103.

That came moments after Bedingham became the third batsman to score a century in each innings of a match at Blackpool following Keaton Jennings yesterday.

It's also the first time a match involving Lancashire has seen a batsman from each side score a century in each innings.

Now it's Stokes v Lyon time once again!

1.50pm
Durham 2nd inns 301-3 need a further 174 runs to win from 62 overs, Bedingham 97* Robinson 108*
Lancashire opt for spin at both ends after lunch with Nathan Lyon and Luke Wells bowling in tandem.

Wells has a big shout for lbw against Bedingham but chances are the ball was bouncing over the stumps.

Meanwhile David Bedingham and Ollie Robinson have posted their 200 partnership from 46 overs.

1.00pm, LUNCH Day 4
Durham 2nd inns 282-3 need a further 193 runs to win from 66 overs, Bedingham 89* Robinson 103*

Durham's morning as David Bedingham and Ollie Robinson have put the visitors in a great position going into lunch, Robinson going to his eighth century just before the break.

The pair have batted positively throughout, and rode their luck at times.

Lancashire will know a couple of wickets can change the situation quickly, and hope they can make a breakthrough early in the next session.

They will also hope Saqib Mahmood's injury is not too serious.

12.30pm
Durham 2nd inns 221-3 need a further 254 runs to win from 76 overs,
Bedingham 71* Robinson 58*
Nathan Lyon having no luck so far, he's just beaten David Bedingham three times in that last over as the Durham batsman attempts to cut.

12.10pm
Durham 2nd inns 209-3 need a further 266 runs to win from 78 overs,
Bedingham 60* Robinson 57*
Will Williams is coming on for his first bowl of the day as the overhead conditions are steadily improving, with bright sunshine and much less cloud cover than an hour ago.

11.50am
Durham 2nd inns 197-3 need a further 278 runs to win from 82 overs,
Bedingham 54* Robinson 51*
Durham are racking up the landmarks with both batters reaching their half centuries in quick succession and the hundred partnership arriving from 25 overs.

Bedingham however then gets a life on 54 when he top edges a cut off Nathan Lyon that just about evades a diving Luke Wells at slip who gets fingertips to the ball.

11.30am
Durham 2nd inns 176-3 need a further 299 runs to win from 88 overs,
Bedingham 46* Robinson 40*
With Saqib Mahmood off the pitch needing treatment, Keaton Jennings has turned to Nathan Lyon who has a huge lbw appeal against Robinson turned down.

11.17am
Durham 2nd inns 161-3 need a further 314 to win from 92 overs,
Bedingham 41* Robinson 31*
A potential problem is looming for Lancashire as Saqib Mahmood is leaving the field. He pulled up twice in his last over but went on to complete it before going off and replaced by George Lavelle.

Durham have approached the day in very positive fashion with both Bedingham and Robinson pulling sixes over midwicket off Mahmood, the first going out of Stanley Park and forcing a change of ball.

11.00am
Durham 2nd inns 134-3 need a further 341 to win from 96 overs,
Bedingham 31* Robinson 13*
Play getting underway with a lot of cloud cover around but bright conditions with the sun trying to break through.

Lancashire will be hoping for an early breakthrough or two themselves and it is Tom Aspinwall who gets the first bowl of the morning.

9.30am
We have bright but cooler conditions at Stanley Park this morning and for the first time in three days there is quite a bit of cloud around.

Play will start on time at 11am when Durham resume their second innings on 134-3 with David Bedingham 31 not out and Ollie Robinson 13 not out.

The visitors need a further 341 runs to win from 96 overs while Lancashire are seven wickets away from a first victory of the season.

Here is yesterday's match report.
