What a remarkable day.

This game is still in the balance after that great fightback with the ball.

Lancashire 2nd inns 10-1 Singh 2* Williams 0* lead by 4 runs.
They didn't manage it. Lewis Gregory has brought himself on and got a wicket with his second ball as Keaton Jennings edges to first slip for 4.

Nightwatch Will Williams has 4.4 overs to survive alongside Harry Singh.

Lancashire 2nd inns 8-0 Singh 2* Jennings 6* lead by 2 runs.Six of the 12 overs that Lancashire have to bat tonight have been safely negotiated by the Red Rose opening pair.

Somerset 1st inns 146 all out (39.5 overs) Gregory 30* lead by 6 runs.
Jack Leach edges Anderson Phillip behind for 13 to end the Somerset innings just after the visitors had taken the lead.

Great fightback by Lancashire who now have 12 overs to bat.

Brilliant by Tom Bailey who floats up a slower ball that completely deceives Craig Overton who plays at it miles too soon and is lbw for 2.

Two balls later Brett Randell is trapped lbw by a more conventional delivery. Sensational over.

Tom Bailey finds the edge with a seaming delivery to Tom Abell on 23 to give Matty Hurst his fourth catch of the innings.

Somerset 1st inns 112-6 (32 overs) Abell 23* Gregory 14* trail by 28 runs.
Tom Abell getting good support from his captain Lewis Gregory who has just hit a brace of fours as Somerset close in on Lancashire's first innings total.

Still 22 overs left today.

What a delivery by George Balderson who takes out the off stump of Kasey Aldridge for 1.

Lancashire fighting hard to get back into this match.

George Balderson now has 3-22 after angling a delivery in to James Rew from around the wicket that drew the batter forwards and found an edge to Matty Hurst after it seamed away. Great delivery!

Somerset 1st inns 65-4 (21.2 overs) Abell 1* trail by 75 runs.
George Balderson had a great lbw shout denied against Tom Kohler-Cadmore because he had overstepped, but it didn't matter because Balderson did strike with the next delivery which TK-C edged behind to Matty Hurst for 3.

Somerset 1st inns 60-3 (20.2 overs) Abell 1* Kohler-Cadmore 0* trail by 81 runs.
Two wickets in the space of seven balls as Tom Lammonby on 36 edges a ball from Will Williams that nipped away and the edge is taken by George Bell at first slip.

Lancashire have a second wicket as Archie Vaughan swishes at George Balderson and edges behind for 21.

Tom Lammonby and Archie Vaughan have settled in a bit now having weathered the early loss of Umeed, Lammonby driving Tom Bailey for four through extra cover. 
Bailey is through 6 overs so far taking 1-22.

No further breakthrough for Lancashire although Archie Vaughan has edged Anderson Phillip over the slip cordon for four.

Tom Bailey strikes first ball!

Andy Umeed plays an indeterminate shot to a seaming delivery and is caught at second slip by Keaton Jennings.

Tom Bailey has thumped a couple of fours but attempting to slog a third off Lewis Gregory instead finds Tom Kohler-Cadmore at mid-on for 16.

Lancashire have fallen for 140 on a greenish wicket that has offered some assistance to the Somerset bowlers with Jamie Overton taking 4-32 and Lewis Gregory 4-50.

It's over to the Red Rose bowlers now to see if they can produce something similar if Lancashire are to stay in this game.

have a 14-man squad on duty for this vital fixture showing one change from last week with 20-year-old batter Harry Singh included in the Championship squad for the first time replacing Venkatesh Iyer who has finished his stint as overseas player. West Indies pace bowler Anderson Phillip is in line to make his home debut for the Club.

Somerset are without Tom Banton who damaged ankle ligaments in the pre-match warm up during last week’s match against Surrey. He is replaced in the 14-man squad by Tom Kohler-Cadmore.
