Read the latest squad news ahead of facing Northamptonshire at Wantage Road

A 13-man squad has been named for Lancashire's Rothesay County Championship match against Northamptonshire at Wantage Road, which starts on Friday morning.

John Turner has returned to Hampshire after a three-match loan spell with the Red Rose, whilst Jack Blatherwick has been included after returning from a two-match loan stint at Durham.

James Anderson continues to work his way back to full fitness after injuring his right calf during pre-season training in March, whilst Tom Aspinwall (side strain) and Rocky Flintoff (lumbar stress reaction) remain unavailable.

Lancashire have drawn their opening four matches in the 2025 Rothesay County Championship, away at Middlesex and then against Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Gloucestershire at Emirates Old Trafford.

Squad to face Northamptonshire:

Keaton Jennings (c), Tom Bailey, George Balderson, George Bell, Jack Blatherwick, Josh Bohannon, Marcus Harris, Tom Hartley, Matty Hurst, Michael Jones, Anderson Phillip, Luke Wells, Will Williams

How to follow:

The match will be broadcast live Northants’ YouTube channel, with ball-by-ball radio commentary from Wantage Road provided by BBC Radio Lancashire's Scott Read on the BBC Sport website and app.

For those unable to follow the action live, there will be regular updates on the Club's social media channels and Match Centre, with highlights also posted on LancsTV.
