Lancashire Cricket announces Board changes and recruitment process

Lancashire Cricket can confirm that Rachel Downey has stepped down from her position on the Club’s Board with immediate effect.
 
In addition, Sara Tomkins will be retiring from the Board at this year’s Annual General Meeting, in accordance with the Club Rules, having completed three consecutive three-year terms.
 
Downey – who confirmed she would be stepping down at the last Board meeting in December - has served as a Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director and has played a significant role with the Hilton Garden Inn extension and development of Farington. Tomkins has been a Non-Executive Member on the Board, whilst serving as the Chair of the Club’s Nominations Committee.
 
Following these changes, Lancashire Cricket will begin the process of recruiting two new Board members. The Club is seeking individuals who can bring a broad range of skills, experience and perspectives to support Lancashire Cricket’s continued development and long-term strategic objectives.
 
The two roles on the Board that the Club is recruiting for are as follows:
 
1.    Non-Executive Director (People, Culture and Safeguarding)
