Lancashire Cricket announces Boys’ Academy intake
Lancashire Cricket is delighted to confirm its Boys' Academy intake ahead of the 2025 season.
The Academy has welcomed two new players - Luke Hands and Rian Maisuria - onto the programme while Gennaro Reddy, Charlie Parkinson, Haider Hussain, George Harris, and Joe Moores have all been retained from last summer.
The squad have been training together throughout the winter, under the guidance of Head of Talent Pathway Chris Benbow, ahead of moving into outdoor training and a summer fixture schedule for 2025.
Speaking about Academy intake for 2025, Head of Talent Pathway Chris Benbow said: “Congratulations to Luke and Rian who have both marked the next steps in their journey as young cricketers by joining the Lancashire Boys' Academy ahead of the new season.
“I wish them the best of luck for the years to come – and we look forward to watching them both progress alongside our older group of Academy players, who are staying with us for another summer.
“Last summer it was fantastic to see so many Red Rose Talent Pathway graduates making their first team debuts for the Club. We are incredibly proud of Charlie Barnard, Josh Boyden, Rocky Flintoff, Kesh Fonseka, and Harry Singh.
“While, it has also been great to see former Lancashire County Age Group players, Michael Jones and Ollie Sutton, return to the Club after taking different journeys in their career so far.
“We hope that all of these players can inspire our current group of Academy players, by showing them that, if they work hard, there is a clear route to first team cricket here at Emirates Old Trafford.”
