Lancashire Cricket launches new LancsTV platform
Lancashire Cricket has today launched its brand-new digital streaming platform: the exclusive home of LancsTV, built for live cricket, on-demand content, and behind-the-scenes access - all free of charge.
LancsTV will be offering supporters unprecedented access to exclusive content, live match broadcasts and behind-the-scenes coverage from across the Club’s men’s and women’s squads.
Developed in collaboration with leading sports streaming provider StreamAMG, the launch of LancsTV, on a new and dedicated platform, marks a major step in the Club’s ambition to innovate and connect more closely with its Members and supporters, both locally and globally.
From today, supporters will be able to stream all non-televised men’s and women’s home domestic fixtures live and free of charge. Additional content – including interviews, archive footage, throwbacks, and short-form documentaries – will offer a new and exciting window into the Club and its players.
The new LancsTV platform will be available for free behind a simple free-to-view registration wall for all supporters. For those fans who already have a Lancashire Cricket login (either Members or ticket holders) they will be able to access the new platform immediately using the same details. The Club has considered Member feedback as part of our 2025 streaming plans, with a mix of upcoming fixtures available on LancsTV and YouTube to reach as many fans as possible. The platform was previously launched at the end of May to the Lancashire Members, who have provided invaluable insight and feedback to help improve our offering.
To celebrate the launch of LancsTV, the Men’s Vitality Blast fixture on Sunday 13 July will be exclusively streamed on our new platform. Following on from that, all Men’s and Women’s matches for the rest of the 2025 season will be streamed on both LancsTV and YouTube, as part of the Club’s phased approach.
In due course, LancsTV will also add increased value to the Club’s Membership through an exclusive area - LancsTV+ - which will only be accessible for Lancashire Cricket Members.
Lancashire Cricket’s Chief Executive, Daniel Gidney, said: “We are incredibly excited to launch our new digital streaming platform, LancsTV, which we believe has been at the forefront of the digital space in recent years. The platform is designed to enhance the supporter experience of following Lancashire Cricket and marks a major step forward in how we engage with our fanbase.
“I’d like to thank our Members and supporters for taking part in last year’s LancsTV survey and for the valuable feedback they have provided us since our soft launch to Members last month.
“We want to reassure supporters that we have no plans to charge supporters to watch LancsTV, and we fully expect the platform to evolve over time, shaped by ongoing Member feedback. One of the driving factors behind the development of LancsTV is to provide increased value to the Club’s Members, through the quality of our production and exclusive content.”
Paul Hunt, Managing Director of StreamAMG, commented: “We are incredibly proud to be working with Lancashire Cricket. As one of the game’s most historic institutions - and our local team here in Manchester - this collaboration holds special significance for us.
“We look forward to supporting Lancashire’s digital growth strategy and working closely together on innovative initiatives throughout our agreement.”
