Ben Compton has held the Kent innings together nicely but the visitors have not got away from Lancashire who have bowled pretty well in the second hour to leave the session evenly poised.

Jadyn Denly brings up the 50 partnership off 87 balls with a six off Chris Green but top edges a sweep off Green that is well caught by Mitch Stanley running in from fine leg.
Denly gone for a well-made 34 and Lancashire finally have a breakthrough after one hour's play.

Lancashire make a double switch with Chris Green bowling his off spin from the North End and Mitch Stanley getting his first bowl in first-class cricket at the South End.

Lancashire have announced a 15-man squad for this game with James Anderson leading the side for the first time.
Overseas players Chris Green and Ashton Turner are both included in the red ball squad after featuring in all seven of Lancashire's opening Vitality Blast matches. Turner could be in line to make his First-Class debut for the Red Rose alongside fast bowler Mitch Stanley who has also been named in the squad.
Anderson Phillip is absent after being named in the West Indies Test Match squad for their upcoming series against Australia.

Wes Agar is in-line to make his first red-ball appearance in his third overseas stint at Kent while Nahan Gilchrist is injured and replaced by fellow seamer George Garrett.
