That was a great innings by the left hander - his highest score this season and the third time he has scored 150+ for Lancashire.

Luke Wells and Josh Bohannon are making good progress with Lancashire adding 105 runs in that session for the loss of nightwatchman Tom Bailey.
Lunch actually arrived four minutes early because rain has forced the players off the pitch.

Matt Parkinson is finding turn and is asking a few questions from the batters.
Josh Bohannon has a big swing and miss against the leg spinner and he has also been dropped - albeit a difficult chance - by Joey Evison off his own bowling.

Tom Bailey's stint as nightwatchman is ended just after the first hour by Joey Evison who has the Red Rose fast bowler lbw for 25.

I doubt Matt Parkinson will have enjoyed being reverse swept for four by former team mate Tom Bailey but that's what happened. He played the shot really nicely too.
In fact this has been an excellent effort by Bailey who Kent would have hoped to have snared before now.
Parkinson then drops short and is pulled for four more by Bailey.

Luke Wells hit a lovely back foot drive for four off Kashif Ali who has now been replaced by Matt Parkinson with Wells reverse sweeping the leg spinner for two runs.
In a double change Joey Evison has replaced Wes Agar.

Thirty minutes into day three and not an awful lot has happened so far. Kent are bowling a tight line and length and that has restricted the scoring with Tom Bailey still having hit (edged) the only boundary thus far.

Fairly bright conditions greet the players as this third day gets under way with Wes Agar bowling the opening over.

Good news - play will start on time at 11am. A minimum of 104 overs are to be bowled today with lunch at 1.10pm and tea at 4pm.

The umpires have had a look at the conditions and will make a further inspection at 10.30am.
Providing there is no more rain it is hoped play might start on time at 11am or shortly thereafter.

The covers are now being removed so we are not far away from the umpires making their inspection.
The overhead conditions have brightened too, although it remains cloudy.

There are wet and windy conditions at Stanley Park this morning ahead of the third day of our Rothesay County Championship match with Kent.
The rain has now stopped and the groundstaff are currently mopping up the outfield.
Once the covers are removed the umpires will make an inspection.
