Pre-Season Tour 2025 presented by Hilton
Lancashire Cricket is delighted to announce that the Club will embark on a pre-season tour to India and the UAE, starting next week and presented by long-standing Official Club Partner, Hilton.
On Monday 3 March, Lancashire Men will depart Manchester Airport for a 10-day training camp in Bengaluru, which also includes two 50-over matches against local opposition.
Lancashire Men will travel to Dubai on Thursday 13 March, where they will be joined by Lancashire Women, to train and take part in commercial events alongside several Official Club Partners.
The Dubai-leg of the pre-season tour will be completed with a T20 double header at the Emirates Dubai 7s cricket stadium on Sunday 16 March when both Lancashire Men and Lancashire Women will take on local opposition with both matches being broadcast live on LancsTV.
Lancashire Men will return to the UK on Monday 17 March to continue their preparations on home soil, while Lancashire Women will head from Dubai to Bengaluru for their own 10-day training camp.
Lancashire Women will play two T20s and three 50-over matches during their time in Bengaluru before returning to the UK on Thursday 27 March.
Whilst in Bengaluru, the Club will be hosting ‘Destination Manchester’ a networking event in association with Visit Britain, Manchester India Partnership and Marketing Manchester on Tuesday 18 March. The evening will feature presentations and Q&As for travel trade and senior business leaders with a focus on Manchester as a tourism destination ahead of the India Men’s and Women’s cricket team playing at Emirates Old Trafford several times over the next few years.
Lancashire Men will also be sending a squad of players to train at Desert Springs in Spain during March. This trip will form a key part of preparation ahead of the opening block of Rothesay County Championship matches during April and May, particularly for the bowlers who require preparation time on the grass.
